This sounds like Tomb Mold and Morbid Angel, Covenant era. And that is just referring to track one. Those influences carry on throughout, but track two brings that Scandinavian sound, and by the end you get that wild Abraded energy. This is easily one of my favorite dm bands without an LP. Compared to Vile Haint, this project draws more of a distinction between the bluegrass/Americana influenced pieces and the black metal sections. A great complement to the overall vision. That digipack looked sweet so I had to order one. Matt A
